The Center is an educational service provider. It offers workshops to the Maryland general public for ages 16 years old to adults. In addition, KLC Couture Career Development Center, Inc. provides an after school Fashion Design (School-Age) Youth and Mentoring Program for youth ages 9 to 15 years old in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas.
The Center provides workshops for charitable purposes so the students may gain personal enrichment opportunities, present artwork in the forms of exhibitions or shows, obtain quality educational learning experiences, intergrate coursework and curricula materials into real life sitiuations within a nondiscriminatory, equal opportunity safe environment developed for the students to meet training goals.
The Center offers personal skills training in the areas of Sewing/Couture Fashion Design, incorporating some history, technology, math, science, garment manufacturing, product development, fine arts, exhibitions, shows, marketing, hat making, jewelry making, illustration, embroidery, heat press vinyl design or application, rhinestone design or application, website design and more in the form of workshops offered to students who are ages 16 years old to adults and youth ages 9 to 15 years old.

KLC Couture Career Development Center, Inc. will offer free training workshops to low-income students ages 16 years old to adults and low-income youth ages 9 to 15 years old, if grant funding becomes available.
The Center does not offer job placement assistance and job preparatory services.
